It’s difficult to picture Emma Watson ever blending in with the crowd, but the Harry Potter star has expressed her desire to do just that. The 19-year-old is currently getting ready for the conclusion of the Harry Potter series and her upcoming enrollment at Columbia University in the U.S. in September. Despite being a global celebrity, she has shared her wish to be a regular, unknown student during her time at university.
Emma Watson, now a grown woman, recently showcased her rock chick side in a photoshoot for ELLE magazine. In an interview with the magazine, she expressed her excitement about living in London, despite the challenge of maintaining anonymity. She joked about hoping to blend into the background on a campus somewhere, but with her striking fashion sense and eye-catching style in the photos, it’s clear that Emma is not one to go unnoticed. The photos feature her with backcombed hair, bold eye makeup, and rocking stylish ensembles including leggings, heels, and space-age suits.
Fashion enthusiast Emma decides to leave behind her Harry Potter style and embrace a more edgy rock-chic vibe.
Enchanting: However, Hermione would never be seen wearing PVC trousers
Emma, who shares an apartment in Hampstead with a roommate, had contemplated accepting a spot at Cambridge University after acing her A’ levels.
Nevertheless, she admits, ‘I’m well aware that attending Cambridge would pique people’s interest.
‘Cambridge is already in the spotlight, and to add to that, not many people go out in Cambridge because it’s such a small town, so I’d end up going to London anyway which is pretty much the same thing.
‘For that reason, I’m definitely drawn more towards the United States.’
Emma’s fashion sense is all about incorporating underwear as part of her outerwear. She effortlessly rocks a t-shirt that also acts as a bra, giving her look a unique and bold twist.
Youthful, affluent, and stunning: Emma flaunts her desirable physique as filming wraps up for the Harry Potter movie series. Closing a significant chapter in her life, Emma will bid adieu to her beloved ‘second family’ at the Watford set.
Speaking about the upcoming changes, Emma expressed, “It might sound melodramatic, but it feels like a major turning point in my life. Harry Potter has been my entire world, and now it’s all coming to an end. I’m not sure what to expect once everything stops.”
Transitioning to university this September, Emma plans to keep busy with projects during the holidays, but she sees September as the moment when everything will truly come to a halt.
Hermione graced the London set of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows this weekend, but this time Emma was dressed in a more casual and laid-back style.
