According to The Sun, the head of the Buenos Aires rescue service, Alberto Crescenti, shared: “Our role was to quickly arrive at the scene, provide medical services and try to resuscitate him, but his injuries were beyond saving.”
Not only that, Alberto Crescenti, representative of the Buenos Aires rescue agency, also revealed the cause of Liam Payne’s death: “Based on what was investigated, it appears that there was a skull fracture and extremely serious injuries that led to his immediate death.”

The singer fell freely from a height of 13-14m, the preliminary autopsy results showed that Payne suffered multiple injuries that led to internal and external bleeding. The autopsy report also added: “There were injuries due to the victim’s fall, it is possible that Payne did not have the reflexes to protect himself and fell in a semi-conscious or completely unconscious state,” according to Page Six.
