After Prosecutors Announce More Victims of Sex Trafficking Linked to Diddy, the Rapper’s Side Responds.
After prosecutors announced that there were more victims of sex trafficking by Diddy, the rapper’s side spoke out.
According to the Daily Mail , in the case involving Sean “Diddy” Combs, prosecutors recently announced that there was a second victim after Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura (Diddy’s ex-girlfriend) who was sexually trafficked by the rapper. This victim was not named.
Shortly after, Diddy’s legal team filed legal documents with the US Supreme Court, denying the allegations about the second victim. They asserted that “this woman is not a victim”.
“This woman was not the target of any wrongdoing by Diddy. Nor did my client attempt to contact her,” the document reads.
Diddy’s side said the woman has not been interviewed by federal prosecutors, suggesting they may not consider her testimony to be relevant to the case in the long run.

In other news, Diddy’s lawyers are continuing to ask the court to grant him bail. This is the fourth time the rapper’s team has filed a request since he was arrested by federal authorities in September.
“They proposed a bail package similar to previous ones. This one includes a $50 million bail and a commitment not to let the rapper leave his residence or hinder the case by threatening witnesses,” The Blast reported.
The jury has not yet made a decision, but considering his previous denials, Diddy is likely to remain in custody. Diddy is currently being held separately from other inmates at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York.
