Bono rejected an apparent kiss from Sean “Diddy” Combs 10 years before the rapper was arrested for alleged sex trafficking and racketeering.
A video has resurfaced of Combs, 54, seemingly trying to plant a smooch on Bono, 64, at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards.
Combs, Usher and Kate Beckinsale were onstage and presented Bono’s rock band U2 with the award for Best Original Song for “Ordinary Love” from the Nelson Mandela biopic “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.”
As Bono grabbed his trophy from Usher, Combs approached the “Beautiful Day” singer and gave him a hug.
Bono quickly turned away from Combs, whose smile disappeared as he walked offstage with Beckinsale.
Despite their awkward encounter, Bono and Combs were seen hanging out at an after-party later that night.
In light of the allegations against Combs, fans reacted to the video on social media.
“Bono like get away from me dude,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“Diddy just wanted a warm welcome, but Bono gave him the cold shoulder!” somebody else said.
“What a freak,” a third tweet read.
“Oh that’s creepy,” another person said.
The Post has reached out to Bono and Diddy’s reps for comment.
Combs was arrested last month in New York and has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
In a bombshell indictment, prosecutors claimed that the famous record executive carried out a “decades-long pattern of physical and sexual violence against multiple victims.”
Combs has been accused of orchestrating elaborate, drug-laced “Freak Off” sex sessions — which sometimes lasted for days — where he forced women into sex acts with male prostitutes while he masturbated and secretly filmed, prosecutors alleged.
The disgraced performer has pleaded not guilty on all counts. He’s being held inside a “barbaric” jail in Brooklyn and has his next court appearance on Wednesday.
Since Combs’ arrest, old videos of the rapper have received renewed attention, including 2011 footage of Combs and a 16-year-old Justin Bieber on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
During the creepy exchange, Combs would not let the “Baby” singer talk about their friendship in detail.
“He knows better than to be talking about the things that he does with big brother Puff on national television,” said Combs. “Everything ain’t for everybody.”
In another old video of Combs and a 15-year-old Bieber, Combs said, “He’s having 48 hours with Diddy, where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose. But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.”
Internet sleuths also uncovered an interview Usher did with Howard Stern in 2016, in which he admitted he saw “very curious things” taking place at Combs’ New York mansion when he was sent to live with him for a year at the age of just 14.
“It was pretty wild. It was crazy. There were very curious things taking place and I didn’t necessarily understand it,” said Usher, now 45.
Over the years, Combs hosted numerous A-list celebrities like Bieber, Usher, Drake, the Kardashians, Jay-Z and Beyoncé at publicized lavish gatherings, such as his star-studded Hamptons White Party.
