According to TMZ, sources close to West revealed that the rapper flew to Japan late last week to distance himself from the chaos. Los Angeles, the source claimed, can be a “trigger” for Ye, but he immediately felt “disconnected and calm” upon arriving in Tokyo.

“As soon as he got there, he instantly calmed down,” the insider shared. “When he’s in Tokyo, he feels completely disconnected and at peace.”

It remains unclear whether West is still in Japan or if his wife, Bianca Censori, accompanied him on the trip. However, one report noted that Censori had stayed in Tokyo until this past weekend.
