Queen Kate Moss made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024 debut in New York on Tuesday, walking the runway in a surprise appearance that sent viewers and audience members into a tailspin.
The 50-year-old supermodel regained her crown as one of the most iconic catwalk vixens in the world by taking to the VS Fashion Show runway for the first time ever, which is hard to believe given her incredible career.
While Moss has walked in plenty of shows since officially retiring in 2004, the star showed she wasn’t playing when she strutted her stuff in a see-through laced dress with her bra and bottoms on display for her big debut.
The crowd lost their minds when Moss came out of nowhere to command the stage while “I Love Rock ’n’ Roll” played. The audience began screaming for the supermodel, who paired her glamorous look with black angel wings, hopped earrings, smoky eyes and nude lips.

“Not victoria secret got kate moss out of retirement!!!!!!!” shrieked another. “Look at how Kate Moss STAYED in character honey yessss,” wrote a third.
Moss’ appearance was welcomed by cheers and claps from the audience, seemingly waking them up from an otherwise meh show — especially for the first since it was canceled in 2019 after the brand copped heat for its lack of diversity.
Victoria’s Secret announced the return of its runway show in May.
“We’ve read the comments and heard you,” an Instagram caption read. “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is ✨ BACK ✨ and will reflect who we are today, plus everything you know and love—the glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment, and more! Stay tuned…it only gets more iconic from here. 🪽”
Besides Moss, other supermodel highlights included Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Gigi Hadid, Grace Elizabeth and Tyra Banks closing out the show.
If not for the all-female performances — shout-out to Tyla, Lisa and the icon herself, Cher — it’s a mystery if the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show should have come back at all.
