Brittany and Patrick Mahomes cheered on the soccer team they co-own!
On Saturday, Sept. 7, the Kansas City Current co-owner, 29, shared a photo of herself cozying up with her husband, 28, on her Instagram Stories while they were supporting their women’s soccer team as they played the Utah Royals at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
“Let’s gooooo!” the soon-to-be mom of three wrote in the post.
In the photo, the couple rocked Current merchandise with both of them wearing red T-shirts with sponsor information and Brittany also throwing on a hoodie with the team’s name. They also wore matching KC caps in the team’s colors of light blue, red and white.
The team’s Instagram account also shared the photo on their feed, writing, “Thanks for the support bosses .”

Next, Brittany shared a video to her Instagram Stories, which showed her and the Chiefs quarterback standing in the stadium as she ate something off a napkin. “I have never been to a stadium that has better food than we do at @cpkcstadium,” she wrote on the video. “And… I’m gonna need some more of these apple pies.”
The KC Current won the home game against the Royals, 1-0.
In January 2023, Patrick shared that he was investing in the sports team, writing at the time, “I am thankful for the chance to join @brittanylynne as part of the @thekccurrent ownership team.”
He continued, “She and the Longs have done an incredible job building a world-class organization and I am excited to join another championship-caliber club as it continues to make history.”
Brittany shared her joy in the team statement, writing, “We are so thrilled to make this a family affair and have Patrick join as an owner. He has been a huge supporter behind-the-scenes. His passion for the Current is undeniable and I am glad that he will be with us as we continue on our journey to become the best in the NWSL.”
