Rascal Flatts are back!
On Tuesday, Oct. 1, the country trio — comprised of lead vocalist Gary LeVox, lead guitarist Joe Don Rooney and bassist Jay DeMarcus — are hitting the road for a nationwide 25th anniversary tour following their hiatus.
“In 2020, we announced the farewell tour after being on the road extensively for 20 years. To put it simply, we needed a break. Then COVID hit and our plans came to a screeching halt, like the rest of the world. Since then, we’ve been able to revisit our unique and special experience as a band and we’re ready to get out on the road again,” said Rascal Flatts in a press release statement.
They added: “It’s hard to believe that next year will be the 25th anniversary of Rascal Flatts, and that felt like the perfect time to get back in front of the fans who have given us so much.”
The band shared similar messaging in an Instagram post, alongside a tour poster.
“It’s hard to believe that 2025 will be the 25th anniversary of Rascal Flatts… and that felt like the perfect time to get back in front of all of YOU who have given us so much! Tickets for the Life Is A Highway Tour featuring @LaurenAlaina and @iamchrislane go on sale this Friday, October 4, at 10AM local time!” they wrote.
The Life Is A Highway Tour, produced by Live Nation, will celebrate 25 years of the band’s hits on a 21-stop tour across the U.S. Rascal Flatts will kick off the tour on Feb. 13, 2025 in Evansville, Ind. and make stops in Grand Rapids, Mich.; Columbus, Ohio; Allentown, Pa.; and Orlando, Fla. before wrapping in Jacksonville, Fla. on April 5, 2025.
According to a press release, Rascal Flatts will perform hits including “Bless the Broken Road,” “My Wish,” “What Hurts the Most” and more.
Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane will support the group on tour throughout the run.
Tickets are set to go on sale Friday, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. local time and are available for purchase here.

Since 2020, Rascal Flatts have been on a hiatus.
They were supposed to recognize their 20th anniversary with a farewell tour, however, it never materialized due to the ongoing pandemic.
Last year, DeMarcus, 53, opened up about whether the band would reunite on an episode of Savannah Chrisley’s podcast Unlocked with Savannah.
“I would want to say never say never. [But] we’re in such different places right now and don’t really communicate on a consistent basis,” he said. “There are just so many steps that would have to take place in order for us to get back to even talking about it. It’s not too late, I just… I think the further we get away from it the harder it is to put it back together.”
